Alan is a certified fitness trainer with National Exercise Sports Training Association and has ten plus years as a fitness trainer and high-level soccer coach in the Sonoma County region. Alan grew up in the Santa Rosa area as a top youth and college soccer player. After many years away, Alan has returned with his experience as a trainer to develop young athletes, but also to meet the needs of all those who want to live a healthier life. He is passionate about the total fitness of the individual and believes that his help with strength training, body core exercise work, and the care and support of those he works with will lead to improving the health and wellbeing of his clients.
Alan works with top-level athletes where his focus is on maximizing one’s speed and strength for high level performance. However, through the years he has also worked with those just starting out in fitness as well as those returning to the gym in order to help them achieve their individual fitness goals. In the end, it has been Alan’s objective to get the most out of those that he works with and to help them feel good about who they are and what they are pursuing.

A resident of the Sebastopol area since 1997, Scott has a passion for helping others attain their heath and fitness goals. Scott’s specialty is training active seniors (rather, “experienced people”) over the age of 55.
Current research definitively shows that as we age into our 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and beyond, it is more important than ever to work on our strength, mobility, and overall fitness in order to extend our longevity and increase the quality of our “healthspan”. It is never too late to start.
Recognizing that everyone is unique, Scott is dedicated to helping his clients reach their specific fitness objectives, whether it’s building more muscle and strength, increasing cardio health, losing excess body fat, improving agility and balance, recovering from injury, developing better nutritional habits, or some combination of all of the above. As a Senior Fitness Specialist, Scott emphasizes the importance of safety while working with a client’s potential physical limitations.
I believe that life is about finding balance while striving to improve ourselves every day and pushing through when it gets tough. I have a strong passion for encouraging others to improve their overall fitness goals through personalized training. I have a NASM personal training, youth exercise specialist, and speed agility specialist certification as well as a TRX and Zumba fitness instructor certification. I have been personal training since 2019. I have found that getting results is about good communication, finding the right combination of strength, resistance, cardio training and of course nutrition. Working on creating the balance for living a healthy lifestyle.
